New user interface for EBSCO databases
On December 21st our databases CINAHL, PsycInfo, Amed, ERIC and Medline will be updated.
The new user interface will have a new look, and some functions will differ from the previous version. Take a look at the new interface already now. Choose which database you want to explore by clicking the link above the search box that says Searching: All databases.
Save your alerts and custom folders
If you have saved alerts or custom folders in any of these databases that you want to keep, follow the instructions below. Note that this will have to be done by December 20th.
1. Log in: Go to the database in question and log in to you personal EBSCO account. Click Folder in the top menu.
2. Save your alerts: In the left-hand menu, click Search Alerts and then Edit Alert. Check the box Saved Search (Permanent). This ensures that it will be transferred to the new interface as a saved search.
3. Save custom folders: In the left-hand menu, there are two types of folders: My folder and My custom. The content in My folder will automatically be transferred to the new interface, but the content in My custom will not. If you want to keep the content, you must manually save and transfer them to the new interface. Open the folder contents and choose one of the saving options in the right-hand menu, such as Save as file, Export, E-mail or Print.
